About this site

Last updated August 2, 2026

Home Health Treatments is a consumer education site about dietary supplements. We read the labels, find the research behind each ingredient, and write it up in plain English for readers who are tired of being sold to.

Who writes this

Articles are researched and written by the Home Health Treatments editorial team. We are researchers and writers, not physicians, nurses, dietitians or pharmacists. We say so on every article, in the byline, because you deserve to know who is talking to you about your health.

We are working toward having a credentialed clinician review our health content before publication. Until that reviewer is named on the page, treat everything here as a summary of published research rather than clinical guidance.

How this site makes money

Affiliate commissions. When an article links to a product and you buy through that link, the seller pays us a percentage. You pay the same price either way. We disclose this at the top of every page, next to every link, and in full on our affiliate disclosure page.

We think readers can handle knowing this. What we owe you in return is that the commission never changes what we write about an ingredient — including when the research on a product we earn from turns out to be weak, which happens and which we publish anyway.
