Short version: some links on this site earn us money. You never pay more because of it. Longer version below, because the FTC requires it and because you should know anyway.

What an affiliate link is

When an article links to a product, that link often carries a code identifying us as the referrer. If you buy after clicking it, the seller pays us a percentage of the sale. The price you pay is identical to what you would pay arriving at the same page any other way.

Where the links appear

Commercial links pass through our own /go/ address before reaching the seller. That lets us count clicks and keep one place to update when an offer changes. Every commercial link is marked, sits inside a labelled box, and carries a note stating it is an affiliate link.

What the commission does not buy

It does not buy a favorable write-up. Our ingredient analysis is written before any commercial link is added, and articles on this site routinely report that the largest trials of a popular ingredient found no benefit — including for products we earn from.

No advertiser sees our articles before publication. No advertiser can request the removal of a finding. Our full process is on the how we review page.
